Imler Diesel Dyno Day Results

Well

here is some updated info!

The cost of the dyno will be $75. 00 and include 3 runs and one 1/4 mile run plus a bbq lunch. But the good news is, If you get pre-registered and pre-paid before April 1st you can save yourself $10. 00.

As usual Ken will provide donuts and coffee in the moring for all and for those spectating lunch will be around $5. 00 with bbq'd burgers and hot dogs as choices.

There will also be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for those competing in the 2 divisions. I'm not sure of the raffle prizes at this point but if Kens past history holds up there will be many very nice prizes and most if not all that hang till the end will surely go home with something.

For those traveling I'm still working on hotels if you are interested please lmk. At this point the best rate I have recieved and confirmed is 80. 99+tax. I have one that is cheaper (69. 00) but will wait until I actually see the rooms to confirm this.

Hope to see ya there if you have any Q's I may beable to answer feel free to call or e-mail

BBD

Way to go, I knew you could work somethin' out with him! Hum parts from up north... ... I think I'm good for now ;)

Jeff, I got reservations at the Cal Expo RV park for Friday and Saturday nights. It was 26. 00 a night for full hookups (30 amp) Fifty amp is a little higher. So where is dinner on Friday? and breakfast on Saturday?

I just found out about this. Guess I need to look on the Events forum a little more often . I've never been to an event, but would like to come down. Do we have to sign up ahead of time, or just come down and pay up? I doubt I'll dyno, but would like to come and see how it's done.

It doesn't cost anything to come and watch. I did that a couple of times before I decided it was time to get a base line run. After the Dyno is a evening at the Sacramento Drag Strip that should be a lot of fun to watch and I think there is a small charge for that. That would be a pay at the gate for the Drag Races (spectator or participant). We would be glad to have you.

Say has anyone got an address for the Drag Stip? I know I can probably follow someone out there but just incase someone else needs it, it might not be a bad idea to post the address of the Drag Stip here Or directions from Hwy 50?

I've not been on for awhile as my computer crashed but anyway, should be quite a show. For anyone wanting to dyno make sure to get there early as close to 20 trucks are already pre-registered. Also as said above the drags were rescheduled, I believe for the 30th of this month. Jeff

No Drags?

:-{} So why were the Drags cancelled? It certainly didn't look like it was because of the lack of interest. Who cancelled them? If they are truly cancelled then I should go to a couple of different sites that I posted the info on and cancel it. Lets see how many are still planning on making it to the drags.

The drags are not cancelled. I am still going to them after the dyno. Also I am the one that originally posted about going to the drags so don't listen to what the others say.

I'm sorry if I was mis-informed but someone did come by the shop and leave flyers saying they were re-scheduled for the 30th. Anyway good to hear that they are still on. Jeff

Ok next question that is still unanswered. Are we doing a dinner on Friday or a breakfast on Saturday? Or both? If so where and when. I am leaving Oroville at 5:00 on friday pulling the 5er down to Cal Expo RV Park. Then ready to eat. Ready to eat breakfast too on saturday.
