Auxilary tank,Blends bio and Marvel
I have the RDS 90 Gallon Combo tool box fuel tank saves a lot of time ,I also run 10-15% bio mix and 4 oz Marvel Mystery oil per 10 gal,I do my blending in the aux tank. I use a 12V electric transfer pump with filter and std fuel nozzle to fill the truck and other vehicles.
I have had great success running Bio 10-15% mix and adding 4oz of Marvel Mystery oil per 10 Gallon of Fuel. ( no fuel filter problems)
My truck is a 2006 quad 4x4 long bed with the 6 speed 3. 73 gears 49K miles, i am currently getting approx 16 mpg pulling enclosed trailer, and 20-22 hwy empty.
No mayor mods just amsoil air filter and amsoil 15-40 extended program and a small exhaust mod.
I use an easy foot on pedal and let the truck smooth out on rpm before shifting that really helped the MPG. Stay below 70 mph to keep the mpg up, i have done some city hwy driving at 55-60 mph and seen 25-27 mpg.
My brother in law has the same truck but has auto and is using the same mix i am and is getting 3-4 mpg better than i am.
If you run these like a hot rod and throttle them the mpg will drop like a rock, just use the torque and not the hp to get these down the road.
Mine cummins is cheaper to run pulling than my silverado with 5. 3 empty.
