Well, I have been here for 6 months now, will be going home on leave next month. Just thought I would let everyone know that Egypt does have a little taste, many of the high ranking Egyptian Air Force Officers drive 24V QC 2500 Ram pickups, everything else that isn't ancient is pretty much a wash. I can't wait to get back to Alaska and drive mine, it will be moving the family to southern New Mexico next May/June when my tour is finished here, see how it likes the desert weather, although I will miss Alaska, prime hunting and fishing I tell ya.

Good luck with your new assignment and upcomming move. And thanks for choosing to serve your country and join the military. It takes a special type person to serve in the armed fources, most could not cut it. I would hope that one day they would make military service manditory, maybe a ywo year hitch? I think it would do most people good, and sending our troops into dangerous areas would have a hole new meaning, and not be taken so lightly by the general public. I wish you well in your career, and up comming move.

Comming to Halloman? I live in Las Cruces, it will be nice having another TDR compadre in NM. I know what you mean about Alaska, but your truck will love NM (you too hopefully). Good luck finishing up your tour and welcome for when you get here.

Thanks for the replies folks. I am sure my truck is going to love New Mexico, no more -40 to -60 degree weather. I have lived in Alamogordo before, and will be moving back into the house I still own(well the bank, but I call it mine). My family is looking forward to the change, but we do hope to make it back to Alaska when I am finished with the Air Force, just maybe not the interior, but not the city either, no offense meant to those folks.
