Are we prepared?
I'm talking off the top of my head right now, so please bear with me. Some of this will sound a little off the wall, but with your responses, this thread might take on some direction and make some sense.

GWB is working hard to build a coalition against terrorism, and America is working at healing her wounds. Together, we will pull through this and make America stronger than ever.
In the past week. . We heard about Lebanon attacking Israel. A counter attack was made. We heard that a plane from Israel, bound for Siberia, was shot down over the Black Sea. Yesterday a man in Florida died from an inhaled contact with the Anthrax virus (Have you ever heard of someone getting sick from Anthrax? What was he doing, mixing up a batch and accidentally exposed himself?). And we heard that Israel is feeling like America is selling them down the river by talking and dealing with the Arab countries. The media claims that these are not terrorist related incidents and we should not be concerned. Maybe they aren't and we can go stick our heads back in the sand. Or. . maybe our news media and government is working to prevent mass hysteria. You decide.
Anyway. . The reason for this post is more basic than what you'd think, after reading the beginning of this thread. I think you should keep the above information in mind while we proceed though.
I am encouraging each of you to seriously involve yourselves in your local chapters of the TDR. The chapters are a great resource of technical and physical assistance and a way to bond with fellow diesel truck owners, which is the one thing that we all have in common. When I say "local chapters", I mean chapters that are within a couple hours drive time from home.
These chapters can be nothing more than a monthly meeting, just so we can get together, so we will know other members of the group. This process will build "cells" that can work together in the event of a greater world threat or a national emergency.
My vision of how these "cells" can work together to form a strong "coalition" of diesel truck owners is really another issue, so I will not go into that at this time. (notice my use of the "new" words we've learned in the past weeks)
So let's get started and get motivated. And remember - Don't wait until it's too late!
What's your opinion?
