Inaccessible(?) Windshield Washer Hose

The windshield washer hose came apart at a spliced joint. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to to get to it to repair the splice. The hose runs a circuitous route from the fluid reservoir at the front of engine compartment (driver's side) then over the top edge of the radiator to the passenger's side, then through a space under the air cleaner, above the wheel well, and behind the headlight before continuing on via the cowl to the washer ports. Guess where the break is. Is there an easy and inexpensive way to get to it for repair, or do I need to train a small octopus to do that job for me?:p
 
Cut it off at the top of the radiator, if there's no splice just past the fill cap, like mine, and splice the new piece to it, pulling it through with the old piece. Then splice again at the cowling above air cleaner. Cheap plastic vacuum line splices work well, I've found. Rats play hell on my ranch trucks if you park too close to the grain bins for a few days.



Vacuum line also works for WW fluid line, if it's too hard to find... ... .
 
I think I'm going to have to remove the fender liner to even get started on this little project. Then as part of the process rearrange the existing hoses so that there will be no splice under the air cleaner. Two accessible splices are better than one where you can't get to it.
 
The fender liner is a 2 minute job to remove. Once you do it you will wish you had done it for other maintenance.
