Do you guy's with the Infinity sound system experience "vibrations" in the door panels caused by the bass emitted from the speakers. My drivers door panel is bad. However, if I push on with my knee and hand the vibe stops. Also, theirs a vibe in the backseat area that I have not been able to pinpoint yet. A friend of mine has a 1500 Ram with the Infinity and says his does it also but I have not had a chance to see for myself.

The bass is so strong that the drivers mirror vibrates and blurs the image. I was waiting for train at night and noticed the effect. Kind of like a disco :D

Mine vibrates in the driver door only. Sounds like a blown speaker, but only when the bass is cranked up. I'm taking the truck this weekend to have Katzkin leather seats put in and the interior guy is going to pull the carpet and door panels and install Dynamat throughout the interior. We'll see if this helps. I'll look at the speaker and see if there is any visable damage while the door panel is off.

The vibration is at the panel that houses the window and door lock controls. Try pressing down on the side closest to the window and you'll notice that it goes away. This topic has come and gone a few times now, you should be able to come up with something by doing a search. I haven't fixed it yet, but I may shave away some of the "foam" like material that the "control try" is rubbing against.

What bass....

I have the infinity system w/CD changer and I have to ask "What Bass"??? I guess it's not a bad system, but I'm one of those that likes a great system with crisp highs, deep lows. We'll be pulling the factory system out any day now and replacing the system with Alpine's Series R. JL stealth subwoofer (10") will be installed between the two front seats for the added bass.

What bass, indeed! Factory spkrs are pretty weak! When my left front Infinity spkr quit (factory) the dealer told me $195 for a replacement. I went to Circuit City and bought TWO Infinity 3-ways for $89-now it rocks. Still could use a subwoofer, but it's much better than stock. Handles more power now too.

Jeez, I must old school or something, I think the Infinity system is one of the best I've heard. Including Fords or Chevys. I'm not talking import tuner stuff though.

I have no complaint with mine although I probably do not play it as loud as some;) .

I rock out!

Don't get me wrong... . this infinity system in my Laramie is sweet. Great highs/mid tones and the seperation between all the speakers is awesome.

My problem is that i like a good bass and I turn the system up too loud! This system is just not built to "rock the house" so to speak.

BTW... . wife complains about me being deaf :D
