Injector Install - Freak Accident?
I went ahead and installed the 275 Injectors and as I was finishing, I remembered that I forgot to oil #2s rubber seal. Long story short I started to pry back on the transfer line and the end of the screwdriver (Stanley crap) broke off.
Since I only found a sliver of metal that to me looked like only half of the 3/16 piece that broke of is:
Is there any way that the tip did a back flip onto the top of the head? I looked all over with a magnet and there was no sign of this piece. I finally had to give up my search and put the valve cover back on. I started it up and it ran like a champ.
Hopefully it flew out and I just can't find it. Would this cause severe damage to my engine if it did make it's way in there? I'll have to admit I'm a little worried.
Anyway,
I just wanted to thank everyone for their help. Oh, and yes I did need to replace the intake horn gasket(but that's a whole other story).
Thanks again,
Johnny
