injector pump check valve removal

ok looks like i put this on the 2nd gen posts first. my bad. now i need to know where the check valve is at inside my injector pump and can it be replaced easy or do i need to take it to a shop. i got bleed back issues and hard start at cold.

Your pump doesn't have a check valve. It has an orifice. It's in the banjo bolt in the return line, on the rear of the pump, just above the shutoff solenoid.

If you have bleed back issues, you should start checking the lines, and the filter head area.

You can try to pressurize the tank gently and see if a wet spot developes anywhere on the system.
