i was surprised at how low my EGT's are (pre-turbo), with the little HY and III's. even before i got the wastegate held shut, with only 28 PSI of boost, towing up Jellico in nothern TN, my EGT leveled off at 1000* at 75 MPH.
i haven't Dynoed, and probably won't. DD's website has dyno sheets from the same setup as i have on a similar truck. they got 100 RWHP, and 200lb-ft RW torque improvement.
i don't care about adjustability. my mileage is the same, perhaps slightly better. i have little or no smoke. why adjust anything??
anyway, to adjust the EZ, don't you have to take the cover off and move a jumper? i got similar power to a comp, and didn't have to violate the pump wire, or install a pump cover.
if i ever get the transmission BOMBed, a comp or a FMS would be a nice addition, but i'm pretty sure would need a different turbo, pusher pump, etc. that would be a serious HP/torque upgrade.
injector install isn't as easy as putting on an EZ, but it ain't that hard. i'm still all
