Going to put new injectors in soon for a little more power. Truck is all stock except for an edge ez, FASS, and 4" exhaust.
I called my normal go-to guy, who is a well respected diesel guy here in the PNW, to get pricing. In the past, he has recommended Stage I injectors. And I see a lot of folks on the tdr go to rv275's.
Well, evidently my guy doesn't work there anymore. Without seeing my truck, just a phone call, the guy I talked to on the phone said I should first upgrade the throttle body and torque converter. (Previous guy said for the power upgrade Im talking about, the oem valve body and torque converter are fine).
So, my question is, is this guy just trying to sell me something ? Or is he probably correct ? Truck only has about 110k miles, and the trans seems OK to me right now.
