Was wondering if anybody reuses the connector tube orings when changing injectors, or should I use new ones. Seems like I have heard to just pull the connector tube out far enough for the injector to come out. So doing this you must not change the orings, right ???? This truck has 6000 miles on it.

change them

If you are installing aftermarket injectors, they always come with new o-rings. If your just taking them out to have a look at them, replace them anyways for the cost and time it takes. . :p

I`ve found that some vasoline on the o-ring works good for re-installation. . Garth

The only time I do is whem I'm installing a new set of injectors that someone bought for their truck because the new injector kits come with them.

If I'm installing a used set of injectors, then I don't even bother.

"tree truckr" was referring to the return line that connects to every injector and then goes back to the filter assy.....

Basic rule of thumb with copper washers is to replace them every time you disturb them. They're cheap insurance.

I'd say that since it is the low pressure side using old ones would be no problem. Copper is soft so you can always tighten a leaking one a little more and it should stop. Use the new ones if you have them and save the old ones incase you drop one and loose it next time you do the job.

not copper washers

Tree trucker was refering to the rubber o-rings on the connector tubes in-between the inj line and the injector itself. . If you do not replace it, you run a greater risk of having a damaged o-ring in any of the connector tubes and can give problems from a long crank time(fuel will drain back to the tank) from air escaping into the fuel system or even a fuel leak. AS HOLESHOT said, they`re cheap insurance if you have them!!!!!
