The 305's should be about 32. 5 inches in diameter.

The 285's should be about 31. 5 inches in diameter.

I'm assuming they are both 70 series by 17 inch.

bfg states their a/t 285/70/17 is 32. 8" diameter & 11. 5" wide on a 8. 5 rim. their a/t 315/70/17 is 34. 5" diameter and 12" wide on a 8. 5" rim...
