Ok so today I installed my new PDR HX35, Bosch 185's and my ASA modifieds intake kit. Oh yeah and replaced my TAPS with a knob in the dash. I would like to say that all mods went well other than diesel doesn't evaporate so it is hard to find leaks after bleeding the system.
Wow is this truck a lot faster. The best mod of all however is the TPS bypass which cost 6 dollars and took less than an hour to complete not to mention that OD shifts are more controllable and predictable than they ever were.
Now on to the questions:
I don't think that my turbo to downpipe connection is airtight. Is there supposed to be a gasket in between the two or around the clamp? This turbo is far noisier than the last one. would that suggest a leak? Should I worry about this at all?
Finally how do you adjust your pump for more power now that I have more fuel and air capability?
