Instrument cluster...again

I know this issue has been addressed before, but I searched the threads and wasn't able to really get an answer. My '06 instrument cluster has started to act up. Intermittently, it will just shut off, the seatbelt alarm will start sounding, then it will just start working again. This all happens in the space of about 2 seconds. By the time I hear the seatbelt alarm and look at the dash, the gauges are already coming back on. All the gauges drop to zero and several of the idiot lights, including the 'Check Gages' light, will come on. Is this a known problem? I'm hesitant to take it to the dealer because I have a Banks Bullet tuner installed and I'm afraid they're gonna try to tell me thats the problem. TIA
