Hey guys... This is my first post so go easy on me!!
First off let me say this site is awesome for gaining knowledge on my CTD... but. . I have a few questions.
I just ordered a set of gauges from Geno's garage, I got the Autometer Z series Boost, Trans Oil Temp, and Pyro gauges on a triple A pillar mount.
My first question is..... do I need to take off the exhaust manifold to drill and tap the probe hole?? I read on TST products site that they use a small telescoping magnet to get out the shavings. My buddy says he wouldn't trust that magnet to get out all the shavings. What do you guys suggest???
Next Question is. . what is a KDP jig and what does it do? I've been reading lots of posts about it and have no idea what your talking about!!
If you can see my Sig you'll see that I'm basically stock other then nerf bars and bed liner, but the more I read on TDR the more I feel myself heading down the dark side towards Bombing. I'm having a hard time explaining to the wife why I need a set of Rancho 9000's shocks for a truck that has only 8K miles on it. :-{}
Any suggestions on how to persuade the wife to let me step over to the Dark side?? :-laf
Thanks... Gary
