hi,guys i don`t know if any off you remember but i have had a big problem with my 01 24valve auto, when i would hit a bump on the highway the torque would come unlocked and the engine would revup, some off you suggested the brake pedal but it was fine.
The other day i happen to notice that my front brake pads were totally shot so i replaced them and the torque unlock issue got fixed also much to my pleasant surprise. i know that there are ABS sensors in my front wheel bearings(i have replaced many) but i can`t make the connection between what effect new pad would have on this, could the sensor have been loose? then how would new pads correct that?
This could be valuable info to the group if the abs sensor was affected by worn out pads somehow! any thoughts?
