Interesting diesl pricing model

Oil continues to come down (although it is insanely too high). But, reg gas in my neighborhood just went down 2 cents. However, diesel went up 8 cents to compensate. I guess the oil company thinks they can make up the lesser profit on gas by just increasing the profit on diesel.

diesel has barely dropped around here (2. 55 to 2. 79), while gas is down under $2/gal in some places.

Well if it's any consulation Guy's it's the same here in Canada. It was . 79 per litre for reg gas and . 89 for diesel. The diesel here stays very constant between . 89 and . 99 and the gas prices bounce all over the map.

There's 4. 55 litre's in an Imperial gal. which is roughly $4. 00 per gal in Cdn funds, even with your smaller gallon and the money exchange factored in you are guys are getting a bargin. You folks have probably the cheapest fuel price's in the world. Enjoy it ! as it won't last for ever the way things are going. Our two countries waste and consume more fuel, water and natural resources per capita per person than any of the other country going.

Yep the big oil companies are gouging the pockets right off of us and we keep coming back for more because we have to. It either that or go live in the bush off the land. And that can get real tedious very fast. !! So pay up and enjoy it while you can.
