Archived interior electrical problem

I have no radio, no interior light, no blower, no power to mirrors. All fuses are good. Power windows and locks work. Where should I start looking for problems?

Start by checking for power at the fuse or circut breaker for each of the affected items. Use a digital volt meter if possible. 12V test light will work. Volt meter is best. If you can access the ignition switch connector check for signs overheating. ( IE. Loose wires or burn marks on the conn. ) Also check the under hood fuse panel, for power at the 50 amp BATT. fuse. Hope this helps.

The fuse for interior lights is fine but the fuse socket has no power. Radio is blown (good excuse to replace factory unit). Can anybody recommend a good shop manual to help trace the wiring?

If you have a vehicle you should have the service manual, an invaluable tool.
