Interior Front Seats / Bench

I have a 40 / 20 / 40 bench. Damn drivers side seat broke. #@$%!

Does anyone know of a place where I can get a new/used/fabricated front bench for my 92? Any help is appreciated.

Where you got a 40/20/40 bench seat from in the first place is a wonder to me.



First gens... as far as I know, always had the full bench, with the 50/50 split back that folds forward to let people in the back. That or captains chairs.



I have seen seats out of newer rams retrofit to first gens before though, you may want to look into that.

Well, it was a wonder to me as well... looks like the previous owner redid the interior. I am going to try and find a power ram, ram charger or somethin like that to replace it. Just wanted to know if anyone had someone they have dealt with, or a place to go/call.

Give it some time. Folks will see this thread and reply with what they have. There are tons of the bench seats setting about in a garage or shed. Folks hate them and will likely PAY YOU to take one.



I love the bench and would never think about any thing else to set my back side on. I am offered one or two bench seats a year but have no where to store one.



Another option is to use the style that seems poplular to install. I have no idea what that may be but have heard FORD bucket and Jeep Cheeroke to be thrown about like a balloon in the wind.

SHawn, how far are you from Cape Girardeau? I have a decent bench seat in my 93 W250. I may trade you seats if we can determine what style seat you have. Is it a stock seat from another vintage, or aftermarket?

I am in st lou, but don't mind drivin' to get a little "steam" off. It is aftermarket from what I can determine, but the drivers side seat is broke. send me a pic, and I can send you one as well, or I can drive it down. Let me know. You can pm me if you want.

I have a 40/20/40 I believe to be after market, that broke on the drivers side.

I cut the hog ringes on the back, pealed the back about half way up. Outside main brace was broke, realianed, welded, added more bracing and rehogringed.

Better then now now.
