This is a follow-up to an earlier post HERE about the center switch stack located below the Uconnect screen intermittently being non-responsive (dead) after starting our truck. I'm guessing this is happening about once in every 10 or so starts.
When this first started happened back in May, I quickly discovered simply driving the truck to 15 mph caused the switch stack to start working normally again. Coincidentally, that's the speed at which the doors automatically lock since I have that feature enabled in the Uconnect settings.
I've recently had the truck to a dealer for other work and asked them to specifically look into this dead switch stack problem. Of course they couldn't find anything wrong, and of course it wasn't doing it while there.
Recently I've discovered that when this problem is present, all I have to do is activate the door lock button and the switch stack immediately starts working! So it seems as though locking the doors "wakes up" or "un-sticks" something contributing to this.

John L.
