Yep, don't know if we will ever know why for sure, but we have a good idea. :-laf

Too bad they couldn't have made a final round. :D

And how bout ol Jeff. Single Sled Puller 66, diesel only and he runs a 11. 17 @ 127 mph in the Silverline Fatboy. Stop and do the math on that one. Has anyone ever run a 10 second pass on a single and #2 only?

Some cool stuff happening in Pro Street with more to come. Oo.

David

What was the weight of the truck on that pass?

What happened on the 11. 16@123 run?

Not David, but I can git ya some info... David. (too many davids :-laf )

The Silverline Fat Boy is >5000 lbs. all motor on the Indy passes, porked up to pro street trim.

This is one more reason that the progressive controller is so important, it will eliminate getting to much nitrous to early.

I still dont see the benefit of this in a drag application. The problem, as Dennis stated,(and in this case) is that there is not enough fuel with a vp44. When and where the squeeze comes in is not the issue. I Think Ol' COMP will even tell you that his progressive system wasnt progressing fast enough in Kentucky.

The total nitrous output will be the same regardless of the system you use. As long as you are using the same size solenoid. The difference is how fast it hits the motor. If it comes on to fast out of the hole you can't really change that with a hobbs switch. If you set it for 25lbs or 35lbs the actual difference is very little.

As for comps problems. A computer is only as smart as the guy programming it. :-laf

I wish I could make schied but it won't happen this year.

Now you've tought an old fart a new thing. "The solenoid controls the amount of nitrious injected". I thought it was the jet size. All a solenoid does is open and close. I thought, anyway.

I;m getten smartter?

??PT??

Actually with a progressive controller you never have to give it the full shot of nitrous, which is why I said the solenoid only flows so much when wide open. When I 1st started playing with nitrous on the diesels over 5 years ago we went to many dyno shoot outs where people we discouraged becuase they weren't getting the same gains that I was.

It was easy to see the problem when you looked at a solenoid that only had a . 068 hole but they had a . 120 jet in it.
