Good Morning all - I hope you can help - -
Truck is a 2002 w/automatic trans 76k miles
Upon starting truck in the AM, I have very poor throttle response when in drive. If I shift back to neutral its OK, then when it warms up there is no problem and it accelerates normally. The secont pert of the problem is when crusing an low speed, 40-50 mph, at 1100-1200 RPM, and go to pick up speed there is no throttle response or down shift until I completely let up on the throttle and then re-accelerate and it works normally. I thought at first it was the transmission, but now think it might be the Throttle Position Sensor.
Any one have a clue?
ALSO - - - - - Are there any shops/dealers in this part of the world worth a flip - - - The nearest Cummins place is in Youngstown, about an hour from here.
Thanks all, Denny
