I did a search and came up with varying answers to my questions.
I am thinking about a FASS system as I remember reading somewhere that 2-micron filtration can be had for these. Otherwise, I was thinking about plumbing in a 2-micron RACOR filtration since I already have a pusher pump.
Is the out-of-the-box FASS unit 10 or 2 micron?
Also, is the heater on it "plug-and-play" with the existing wiring harness or do you have to cut-and-splice engine coolant through it?
Lastly, has anyone experienced the FASS under off-road and cold weather duty? I. e. , roads where lots of gravel and rocks are spit up by the tires, snow/slush build-up, unit dying or reduced performance in cold weather?
If I do get a FASS, I will just plumb it through my stock fuel filter canister since I already have all the plumbing from there to the CP3 already, including the fuel pressure gauge tap.
Thanks!
