Hello all,
Well, I just got back from the local dealer after test driving a 2500 QC, Short-bed with HO/6-speed. These trucks are way nicer than past models. Can't say I was all that impressed with the 6-speed though. Anyway, here is the price I was quoted:
2003 Ram 3500 Quad Cab Short bed SRW 4x4
Laramie Package
HO Cummins
48RE Auto
Options (in addition to standard Laramie features):
1. Power adjustable pedals
2. Steering wheel mounted audio controls
3. Under rail bedliner
4. Limited slip rear
5. 4. 10:1 gears
6. HD snow plow prep
7. Trailer package
8. Heated seats
9. Two-tone paint ($600. 00 extra... truck is single tone Patriot Blue)
10. Trailer tow mirrors
MSRP: $44,300
Purchase: $39,468
The pre-tax purchase price includes the $1,500 factory rebate, $4,000 dealer discount and the addition of lower silver paint procedure. What do you think? Good, bad, average? The dealer does not have this truck, but it is in NY State, so the price also includes him sending someone to get it or having it shipped back here to NJ. I priced this vehicle out on Edmunds and they listed the invoice around 39,100 and a True Market Value of around $39,487.
