This isn't offered because it's radical or revolutionary, but because these groups are usually read by guys with widely varying experience and mechanical knowledge - sometimes what seems simple and basic to one guy, is a total mystery to another.
Along that line, some guys mounting various aftermarket fuel pumps, or relocating the stock lift pump down closer to the fuel tank at the frame rail, are unpleasantly greeted by the vibration racket that sometimes accompanies that installation.
There are undoubtedly different - probably even better - methods to reduce or eliminate such vibration - and differing styles of mounts for pumps might require a different approach, but here's a blown-up example of what I did on both my Carter pusher pump, and the relocated stock LP:

The rubber grommet in the body of the metal bracket isolates the bolt shoulder from the bracket, and is often supplied with aftermarket pumps. The shown rubber hose standoff/isolator generally needs to be of as soft a composition as possible, and the less the bolts are tightened (within reason!), the quieter the installed pump will be in operation.
Perhaps others with different brands/styles of pumps can display what they have successfully used to dampen vibration...
