Hello guys,
I'm in the process of installing an Isspro EV pyro #3607TR with one problem. The threads on the brass thermocouple is a 1/2-18; confirmed it with a thread gauge. My personal tap and die set has only 1/2-13 and 1/2-20. I've called several hardware and auto parts store on the island and nobody has a 1/2-18 tap.
At first, I thought it might have been a metric thread, being that those gauges are manufactured in India. I double checked it on the thread gauge. I noticed in other posts there are 1/4 or 1/8 threads on the pyro installation. My thermocouple has an adjustable depth, which is why it's so large. Any info is greatly appreciated.
