I don't think we will quite make 75 trucks but we tried. Should be a blast with 60 trucks and almost a 100 guests... I can't wait to get to the lake.

My thermometer read 112. 5 on Friday, 111. 6 on Sunday and 110. 8 today. I think I see a trend here. Who knows, in 19 days it may be snowing!! After all we're talking Texas weather!!

Bill, where is Argyle? I saw that College Station was 112deg today.

I don't know about you, but it has been tolerable for me. Normally, Houston is the pits with 45-65% humidity even at a 90-95deg ambient temperature. The humidity <seems> lower the last few days.

I drove in from New Mexico yesterday. It was 48 in the valley, 112 Decatur, and I had a brief 115 show up just north of you Bill in Denton. Lucky for me it cooled to a frigid 111 when I arrived here in Sachse.

Heck, when the humidity DROPS into the 80%'s it's considered NICE AND DRY around here. High 80-90%s is NORMAL here in the sticky MidWest (Omaha). Have a great rally!

Argyle is 8 miles south of Denton and 22 miles north of Fort Worth on I 35W--8 miles north of Texas Motor Speedway. I live out in the country west of Argyle, due north of the Speedway, and I can see it out our front door.

Is there going to be a caravan from Houston?
If not can anybody suggest the best route & how long it will take me so I know when to leave (don't want to miss a thing). Can we buy this stuff I have been reading about a this show?
