Well ordered some 3mm & 5 mm blue LED's to play with on my dash project I have been thinking about for a while now.

Got some time today and tinkered some today, turned out pretty good I think, :D the dash is easy, the light switch and heater controls took a bit of modifying of the original bulb holders and some soldering but all is working, the only problem is the heater control, I used wide angle LED's but the bottom right, and top left do not light up as well as I had hoped.

Whacha think ... I've got the blues :-laf

Got more photos in my readers rigs gallery in case this one doesnt show up

Yeah I think so ... $20 in LEDS (thanks to ebay) and about 1 hour to install ... I might try some of the normal LED's and see if they look better than the wide angle ones, hopefully they may make the Heater controls light up better.

Actually tonight was the first long trip I did with it ... very easy on the eyeballs, even the pillar gauges are good ... the needles are all easily visible even though you can't really see them in the pic.

I just got tired of the ole green.

Have a friend that is going to try red LEDs, not sure if they will work or how it will look but as soon as he gets it done I will post some pics.
