   :--) :--) :--)

You Kentucky boys are VERY brave Jimmy... ... . you and Jacob Bradford and Chris Cracraft... ... drive in, sign up, sling some weights on the front, hook 'em, pull the weights and drive him. Y'ALL R NUTZ! ... but it sure is fun to watch :-laf

Good enough for me. :D :-laf

What pull did you place 2nd in against George, and how many ft did you get?

What do you think you were running for HP?

What made you decide to switch to twins?

Well I posted his Scheid '04 Distance above.

His #'s from David Dunbar's Dyno Jet @ Scheid '04 are:

Jimmy Smith ?? Dodge 474. 2 860. 1

Lastly..... the story goes 'ol Jimmy & his dad bought a 12V to turn into a drag racer so the Pulling truck got demoted to Tow truck and Jimmy swapped to a set of towing twins.

Hey, thanks Mark for replying?

Jimmy, what does your truck look like?

Mark, do you know what the rest of those trucks that you listed use for turbo's? Curiousity is coming onto me... ... pm me if you know... ...

Thanks!

Hey Jimmy, were you drag racing at Muncie '03? I think i've seen this truck before, there and in some pics on this site. Or could it be another green dually truck with a big stack like that?

How does this turbo compare to a full B1?

Should easily outflow it and have comparable if not slightly faster spoolup, from what I've heard from several people now.

I had a B1-2 on my 12v before J. R. s Hx55. the B1 would make 65-70lbs of boost and bury my exhaust temp gauge. With no other changes to the truck other then adding the 55 my boost dropped to 45-50 lbs and my exhaust temp came down to 1500 degrees. The truck revs a lot eaiser. Cool air insted of heated air. I have dyno'd the truck with the B1-2. When I dyno it with the 55 I'll be sure and post them. It'll be higher but its hard to tell from seat of the pants.

Ok guys, educate me, I've got an 04. 5, will the factory down pipe work, what about an elbow to clamp on the outlet of the turbo to hook to the inercooler, are these available. I've been looking at turbos for awhile and this lil 55 looks kinda interesting, will it even fit on an 04. 5 with clearance issues, what do y'all think?????

Sorry GWoody I thought somebody had answered your questions. No you will have to have a 4" downpipe for the 'Lil 55. There is one in the TDR classifieds for sale right now for $65!

The compressor housing is a direct fit to the intercooler on all of JR's turbo's. I'm pretty sure it will fit, but I won't swear to it. Call JR for the details and to see if any 3rd Gen's are running it. # is 317-281-3130
