I do not have any pics. But I do have a 93 XJ 2 door 5 speed 4wd, forest green. Something like 150,000 miles on the body. 1000 miles on the motor.

Built up a <a href=http://www.hescosc.com/shop. asp?action=details&inventoryID=43006&catId=7550>Hesco stoker</a> motor. Head is still stock. Barrings all coated. Bigger oil pump.

The motor was PERFECTLY CLEAN when I pulled it apart. The rear main was leaking and cam sounded off (lots of back firing the last few 1000 miles). When all said and done, stretched timing chain (as expected). bad rear main, and valve springs that were not very springy anymore. virtually zero ware!. Something to be said for warming up a motor, cooling it down and using synthetic oil!

I didn't even have to bore or hone it, it was that perfect looking in side. But I did anyways, . 020 over.

transmission was rebuilt. And a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch added.

suspension is rather stock. The axles were changed over to 3. 73 when the rear went out the first time. The Dana 35 is about done again. I have a dana 44, never used. from a 99' dakota 4x4 that needs some mods to fit under the jeep.

2 years ago I had a caliper seize up and I think I also have a bad master cylinder (or air in the ABS part, ABS broke as well). She's been sitting in my dad's barn ever since, winterized. I plan on starting things up this x-mas when I take a trip down and possibly trying to fix the brakes if I have time. Bring her back to MN in the spring.

The hatch holds a stereo, when new, would hit a clean 144DB outa 2 12" Phoenix Gold X-maxes with only 400Watts. :)

This jeep should run a mid 14 second 1/4 if not faster with some fuel tuning.

Have a 2000 TJ w/ 33/9. 5/15 3" tereflex lift w/long arms, ARB locker in rear, 9000lb warn winch, warn front and rear bumpers. I really like this jeep, but can't modify too much more because it is still a Daily Driver for the wife.

I was going to take mine to the Local MOPAR race this weekend but I had something come up. I think with the stroker mine will run a mid-high 15 but thats pushing it I think. It weighed 3800lbs with me in it BEFORE I put a little bit bigger tire, the explorer rear axle(way heavier than D35 wow), and my Durango bumper and tire carrier. It should for sure be pushing 4000-4200lbs now. With all the wieght and the lack of aero I would be happy with a stock ET lol. It will still eat the rice up though

I was able to trim weight down to 3400#'s with out me. If I drop the stereo, 3200#'s or less. I ran a mid 15's with stock motor, and some bolt ons and 3. 73's. I figure mid to high 14's with stock computer (and some sort of "jet" module that I didn't think did a thing).

If one were to place an accel DFI or some sort of laptop tuner, a few more ponies could be tuned outa a 4. 7 stoker then ya think. But at the cost of $3000 for the kit a few years back to replace the stock computers. That's a bit steep.

What's nice is the head gasket update that mopar had for that motor could sustain 8PSI of boost with out studs or anything. So a charger kit is possible.

But, I'm pondering parting the jeep out, hooking the stereo up to my garage, and putting toward a 3rd gen 2wd truck. :)

Well. let's see. I have a:

1980 CJ7 with a 304 and the original paint and stripes with about 90k miles on it. I did put a small 4" lift on it so I could get 33" tires under it. I do not wheel this Jeep anymore. It sits in a climate controlled garage mostly.

1981 Jeep Scrambler. Still has original paint and stripes with a 4 cyl engine. I rescued it from being parted out about 5 years ago. I was not even looking for a Scrambler but I just could not let the guy part it out so I bought it and it sits next to the 1980 CJ7. I need to rebuild the engine and transmission, one day.

1988 Wrangler with a 383 Chevy stroker, multipoint efi, NV4500, Dana 60 front GM 14 bolt rear with 40" tires. This is my off road Jeep. I bought this Jeep about 6 years ago and I still am working on this thing.

2003 Rubicon. I used to be the Sales Manager at a Jeep dealership, so when this was made available to order in June 2002, I ordered the first one. I put 3" lift on it with 33" MTR's and I take this thing offroad too. It has been on every trail at Tellico except Helicopter Pad. It even did lower 2, but I had to winch that one most of the way.

Here is a link to my picture gallery. I have some pictures here with my 88 Wrangler in action.

'71 Jeepster Commando SC-1... special option package

225 Buick V6

T-15 3spd

Dana 300 t-case with homemade twin stick

Dana 44 flanged axle rear, Detroit Locker

Dana 30 open knuckle front, open

4" arch springs, crappy shocks... shackle reversal on front

Warn 8274 on front

It's rusty, bent, ugly, but the heater works, and it wheels decent.

Have a 44 front w/ disc brakes and all the hardware to set up discs on the rear, as well as a TH350 w/ the BOP bellhousing pattern just waiting to go in... . never have time.

I dont see any REAL JEEPS ;)

I have a 57 Willies with a small block chev 283 and a turbo 400 automatic I rebuilt the auto with a lower first gear then bought a transfer case kit to compound my reduction even more, I installed a narrowed Dana 44 in front with an ARB air locker up front and a DANA 44 with a powerlock posi in the rear with full floating axles and I created my own 4 wheel disc brake set up, 8k winch misc frame & cage work, 130 amp onboard welder, air compressor, centerline wheels with 33s I cant remember all I have done over the years

Ha,

I've got a CJ3A at home on blocks. I replaced all the brake lines with a pre bent kit from kaiser willy's overland. The only other upgrades are a 2 barrel carb (but it sucks you cant pull a knob anymore to rev the engine, and I replaced a lot of the factory wiring.

The PTO works great still.

I have a 97 tj w/dana 44 rear bought this back in 2000 had the stock 2. 5 now has the 4. 0 who ever said it will bolt right up is a flat out liar it is mainly stock except intake and exhaust and a 2" coil lift with procomp at's 31x12. 50 I still have the 2. 5 sitting in the shop if any one needs one

First weenie

Ok... somebody has to be the first weenie so it might as well be me-

  • 03 Jeep KJ
  • 2. 5" spring lift
  • 245/75R16's
  • Mall rated alloy wheels
  • Factory skid plates

I know... its not a "REAL JEEP" but it came factory with Jeep emblems :)

SRT-8 hauling package? :)

There's a guy around here that has one. I gave him the smoke and the 3rd gear tire slippage. He didn't bite yet.
