hay guys how have u been doing?? i thought i come a put up a post or two. well i do have a problem... 2... maybe 3... lol

1. i'm getting a new steering shaft from borgeson any hits in putting it in??

2. my electric horn... the button inside the steering wheel... any suggestions on replacing it? the two copper plats keep contacting each other... and driving down the road with it going off isn't cool.

3. and the best for last. the front left wheel bearing seemed loose. so i re tighted it it up. what made me think it was loose was when i hit the brakes hard i would hear a pop and i would feel the truck pop forward a tiny bit. that was the only time it would do it. after retightening the wheel bearing it still does it again... any suggestions?? thanks for the help guys!

sorry i haven't been around sooo much... collage takes ur whole life.

(p. s. i'm getting the new shaft for my birthday saturday)

Hi Jimmy,

I can't help you with the first two issues, however, #3 I would suggest that you look at your suspension. Ball joints and shock mounts first come to mind.

HP

P. S. Good luck with the CTD girl, I got mine 14 years ago and no looking back :D .

that popping sounds was happening to mine too, but it was from the link bars that hook up toward s the front bumper. not sure what they're termed. Anyway My bolts were loose and missing, there are two bolts hooking into the lower control arm, check those

one more thing... i need a new master cylinder. . i'm on the 4th one from the factory and it's shot. any suggestions on where to get one??

and thanks pepecat... i thought it was something like that. it's raining outside now... but i'll check it in the morning. .
