My '96 is dripping oil (very slowly) from the oil plug! Here's the story. I bought a brand new one at the Dodge place in town about 6 oil changes ago. About 3 changes ago I took it in. Soon afterwards I noticed oil dripping very slowly from the oil plug. Yes! I'm positive that's where it's leaking. I assumed it wasn't tight enough so I took it back and told them to tighten it. They said it was tight enough, but because there was a rubber washer on the oil plug it was causing a little oil to squish out. I let it go until the next change which I did myself ( I change every 4,000 mi) and put another washer on with brass in it. (The amount of oil leaking wasn't enough to make me run out of oil). Anyway, the plug still leaked. I let it go again until the next change. Last night I changed my oil and put thread tape on the plug threads. I wrapped it around about three times. Still Leaking! What the h***!
Plus, I didn't make it to 4,000 mi. , that wasn't a problem before. I think Jody may be trying to leak or use oil somewhere because the plug isn't leaking that bad. I'm going to check him about every other day, but it's hard to tell with the leaking plug. Help Boys! How can I get that pug to quit dripping oil? I think I need to solve this problem, before I can see if he's leaking or using.

(even though she still has oil in her long curly hair!)
