I have read all you have to say and I noticed that you've left out a whole lot of facts that did in fact occur at the race.
1. You were not in a street class with your pickup. You ran in Class Modified Pickup, a class designed for running on race slicks.
2. You were in fact the slowest entry in that class with an E. T. somewhere in the 14s, while the two other competitors were 2 full seconds faster.
3. Although Doug Dyne's CAT's Meow truck is not street legal, nor registered as a street vehicle, Mike of Auto Wurks Diesel ran his 96 3500 on race slicks just as you did. What you failed to observe is that the truck has license plates on it, a valid registration sticker, and a valid state inspection sticker. When run on radials, the truck is 100% street legal, and on slicks, it was the fastest piston engine powered vehicle running on #2 Diesel!
4. Rob of Blue chip had the quickest E. T. in the street class running 15. 3 seconds. I had the fastest mph in street trim on BF Goodrich All Terrain radials at 97 mph.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Sorry we did not run in modified pick up we were in EXP like every other street truck, and if you want to try us out go to the diesel drags this weekend at New England drag way and we will run you on street tires.
We drove our truck to New Jersey from CT. with the CD playing a load of kids coolers and chairs.
Our truck is the heaviest of all the entries at 7150 lbs.
Do I sense some jealousy here?
I saw Autowurks on a trailer, Not very streetable with no interior, skinny front tires, no AC, stereo, cruise control etc.
My 9. 38 second 150 mph Camaro also has licence plates and a valid registration.
That doesn't mean I will be taking any vactions in it.

I don't take anything away from Mike at Autowurks, he is doing a fine job with his race truck and should be proud of his and Piers/BD accomplishments.

I congradulate them!!
