is the juice with attitude and a smarty a good combination? also i hear that the smartys EAT injector pumps? is this true?

It should be alright. Ive had my smarty for over a year and have NOT had any problems out of my VP. I run a TST combo so i dont have any hands on with the EDGE but it should work just fine. I believe you would want to run level 8 on the smarty since the EDGE has timing.

Good luck

I have had the smarty and juice combo for along time and they work great together. I noticed that with the stock lift pump i would loose performance with the smarty over 4, once i changed to the FASS i could run the smarty on 8 and its an awesome combination. I still have my stock injection pump and the truck has 180,000 on it, so i don't think the smarty will hurt it.

smarty does not eat injection pumps. Smarty is programmed to get all the fuel out of the injection pump within it's stock limits.

I have been running a smarty/catcher going on three years with the stock lift pump and original vp44 :)

smarty and mach 4's = 400 hp and very safe and reliable power

i have a holley blue for a push pump but i can still drain the fuel from about 27 to 6 so im worried once i put the smarty on it will eat my injector pump

I have seen in other posts that the Smarty does not like the Hot Juice, the regular Juice is fine. Maybe Bob Wagner or Marco can comment on this.

Ive got a cam with the 12v lobe so i run the old mech. lp. I idle at 25-28 psi and really couldnt tell ya what it goes up to cause i dont have a higher fuel psi guage.

Wow
I can't believe your pump is not having issues at those high pressures.

I know this has been discussed many times here.
8 ->17 psi, around 12 nomal is optimal on the vp44.

what are you using for a lift pump? anyone know if the juice will work with it ok?
Only problem you have with a FASS or something is that you need to hit up summit racing for a line splice so that you can put the fuel pressure sensor in the fuel line. If you have a stock lift pump (even on the frame rail) you can just use the supplied fitting to install it.

All other connections go to factory locations.

I havent had a problem with mine and ive had it in for almost a year, maybe 30,000 miles.

Maybe all that pressure did kill the pump and now all that pressure is fueling the truck:-laf
