I'm asking this question for a member that does not have a computer.

2001 Dodge Ram 2500 24 valve --auto.

Since the truck was new the Tach. would jump up and down about 25 RPM'S when the truck was in neutral. Now with only 28,000 mi. it does the same thing going down the road at 50 MPH and he can feel the fluctuation in the truck?

Also: can anyone recommend a power enhancment for a safe modest increase in HP and Torque, I would like to increase acceleration form 0-50?

this should be normal. my truck does the same thing and i have had it since it was brand new. i now have 60,000 miles on it and tow regularly with it.

The tach sounds like a bad ground or CPS.

275 injectors will give you better "safe" acceleration off the line. I'm assuming you have a 24v engine like your friend. Try filling out your sig. Mike
