Just dropped the truck at the stealership

who wants to start taking bets on what the problem is???



It surging and hesitating at 2k rpm's sometimes, not always... it started when I was towing a trailer to kentucky last weekend... .



I think it may be the lift pump, but from what I have read here, you can drive for thousands of miles w/o even knowing the pump is out, so it may not be... .



I guess I'll find out when they call me... . if they can find the problem, I hope its not one of those mysterious problems that they can never find.....



Plus I hope they can fix it today, they are closed on Saturday's and I need my truck to get back and forth the work..... plus I hate drivin my wifes mustang its too low..... :{

I'm interested in what you find out. The last time I had mine into the dealer for the same problem I was told that there was nothing else they could do for me and he gave me a little flashlight, which is junk!!

Sounds like a lift pump to me. Mine did the same thing when I was towing trailer. It failed completely a few days later... .

well its the lift pump..... just spoke to them. They can't have one in until Monday, so I'm going to go pick up my truck so I will have it for the weekend,,,,big surprise, huh?
