Just got the truck I've been looking for..

I just bought a 93 W250 CC 5 sp 3. 54 w/ 165K on it. Has a rotten cab floor, but came w/ an extra cab. Already turned up a little too. This is the first 4x4 5 sp 1st gen I've had, I previously had a 95 CC w/ a 5 sp and 4. 10s. I can honestly say this truck doesn't wander like that one on the highway and has more power too. I've got a few plans for it, putting the guages from my other 93 on it, changing the cab, painting it black(its green) and maybe 285's w/ a leveling kit on it. BTW, my other 93 will be for sale soon, It's rotten but only has 80K. -Nick

I just missed out on this one. Does it look like you could 'fix' the floor and not have to swap cabs?

Not much left in the seat mount/rocker area... I'm going to try though, as the seat bracket is sticking through the floor, I have a 4x4 shoved underneath it.

It's sounds like you bought the truck from ND I was looking at. He had offered another cab with it, but you must not have gotten it. I emailed him as I wanted it, but he never got back to me. Looked like a pretty good truck, so congratulations to you.

No, I got it w/ the cab. It's a shame because the only really bad spots on the existing cab are on both rockers and the drivers floor, but they're so bad, nothing is really left to weld to. Even the driprail is pretty solid, I expected it to be rotten like all of mine have been.

Nick did you drive or tow it home? It sure looked nice, I guess I just dragged my feet too long and maybe if it was closer it would definately be sitting in my yard now.

I really wish I was closer to ND, I would have bought it. Gerald sent me dozens and dozens of pics, even all the ones I requested, underneath etc. From the pics, the engine, drivetrain and exterior of the truck looked spectacular, no drips/leaks and such. Just an ugly drivers floor :{ .



Ok Nick, you've got it much closer to me now, sure you don't want your money back .

I paid the previous owner to drive it out to me, if he had that much faith in it, that was enough for me. The truck goes down the road straight, stops and steers better than my old 95 CC, and makes good power. I'm going to try to band aid the cab floor enough to get the seat back to where it should be so I can drive it comfortably until the winter when I plan on putting the extra cab on. And of course in the meantime there will be guages, turbo, straight pipe, injectors... . I looked for a long time to find a CC 5 sp, but I almost don't want to sell my auto truck, its always nice to have a backup first gen
