My Fass was on for three years, one day a few weeks ago started truck and saw fuel pressure was really down. Shut truck off and saw fuel coming down from on top of tank. Small pinhole from line rubbing (blue line) I replaced all the line from Fass to VP44 with braided stainless I bought on E-bay.

Did you let the old fuel line hang up there? Mine did that too cuz it drained the old line out. then it stopped. Mite be something to check.

mine did the same after the install it was the fuel in the old line. thought it was alot but after a few trips it stopped showing up

why in the heck would you guys be leaving all that stuff there?

the block off plate is like ten bucks from cummins

the piston pump is only gonna move dry for so long than it is going to seize

notice any strange noises coming from under the hood?

don

If you have an aux tank you can use the oem pump as a transfer pump to the main tank.

Just make sure you have some kind of timer or way of remembering when to turn it off or you'll have an overfilled tank.

Or rig it up as a standby pump as a backup just in case your aftermarket pump bites the dust out in the boonies.
