Oh and it could be. I have seen 4 go bad just in our area and recently there was a thread on this. I will say that edge is right up there with customer service that is for sure.

Does Edge give you guys a Boost Elbow to keep the Wastegate closed?
I might have missed somebody covering that, but I thought I'd try and help a little. Hope you get it figured out.

GKinney said:I figured this might be a good place to get some info on the comp box. I am thinking of upgrading from my Ez to the comp and was wondering, does the boost fouler still work even though the comp is shut off? This is the main reason I am thinking of upgrading to be able to turn the box off and on with out unhooking it completely like my ez. Thanks for any help!!! gary![]()
wicked6 said:Yeah - they have a replacement elbow with a drilled plug in it. . I'd say the hole is. . uhh... small. .(0. 010"??) I'm used to using a pneumatic bypass in the wastegate line (fancy term for a valve to atmosphere), but will give this boost fooler a try for now. . I think I get 24/25 psi at WOT...
Beast2B said:If you DON'T have the boost elbow installed (or other mod for automatic truck) then you WON'T get much more than 24lbs of boost. I went up to near 30lbs with the new elbow with just the Comp. BTW I like my Blue Chip cover as well.
If you haven't checked yet, make sure you have the ground lead for the Comp attached to the neg battery terminal, or I used the left front fender where the small lead comes off of the left side battery neg terminal, solved a major PITA I had with my Comp working intermittently.
