I just ordered an '05 3500 quad cab dually 4 wd. I feel like a school girl anticipating her first date!

I have started a business that requires me to regularly tow a 24 foot, 7 foot high v nose trailer. I also now need a long bed. As I love my truck and have it completely bombed, but dependable I am the hard decision to get a new Cummins!

I went to Saiita-Treadeu Dodge in Pahrump Nevada and sat down wit the sales manger who was recommended by another TDR member. We discussed various options and it was decided that I defiantly would have to order. We came to color and I wanted the Almond... Guess what, you can not get that in the dually... What a crock of sh@T! In the dually you can only get 6 colors... GM and ford offer at least 8. If it wasn't for the Cummins... ... ...

Anywho, I decided I probably wanted the dark red with taupe... . Then, we went to drive a dually... It was silver metallic with taupe cloth interior and was absolutely *****en looking! I fell in love with the color on the truck immediately and ordered mine that way...

I ordered a Laramie with the h package... Loaded!

I have really enjoyed my 2500 sb in the 5 years I have had it. It took about 3 years before it was fully bombed... It is a great truck.

I know the 2005 is going to be that much better. The steering was way tighter, the new Cummins is much quieter, but still grunts like a Cummins...

Only bad part is truck here come from Saltillo... Bummer... :(

I am only mildly excited about going through the whole bombing process again... It is expensive, but fun!

So now I have to wait 8 weeks... Time has really slowed down :)

Thanks for reading!

Bill, that is so awesome. Same color and all as mine. Except, mine's not a dually any longer. I like the lighter interior. Especially in the summer.

Mac, I got the 48 RE. My better half drives the truck when we launch and recover the boat. She does a great job, but I would hate to see my new 47k truck end up in the lake if I ordered the 6 speed :--)

I will just have Fred Swanson work his DTT magic on

the 48 RE :D

Cheers, Bill
