I remember reading this before:

If you use Geno's billet fuel filter cap as a reading point for a FP gauge the reading will be PRE filter? Correct?

I already have a FP sender off the injector pump but have heard of several people having pre and post filter readings and I like the idea.

Anyone have the billet fuel filter cap that can comment on it? Like it? Well made? Just as easy to service the fuel filter?

I'm planning on using a hose... would I have to remove it every time I service the fuel filter?

Thanks for all of the help!!

I used it on my '01 and plan on installing it on the new one. Yes, it is solid and easy to service. It does not have the tabs that hold the filter to the cap which in my opinion makes it easier to service as the filter stays in the housing when the cover is removed.

When you say "hose" I take it you mean you are using a mechanical gauge? I used the electric sender with a Westach unit. It was easy as I used a trailer type, two lead connector to discinnect the leads prior to cover removal. The sender was mounted directly to the billet cap with about 4" of wire to the disconnect.

Thanks for the replies! No, I'm still using an electronic gauge but with the hose from the pump to the sender.

Cheers.
