Going to Hays tommorow morning to look at a 97 2500 4x4 Reg Cab. Wish me luck that's a decent truck, if it is I will be in a new ride tommorow night, and by the end of the month will be up and smoking ricers again... Provided that I can sweet talk to wife into letting me buy a new clutch for the stuff in the garage... LOL... .

Just bring this back to the top. I know it's getting to be summer time, and most of us are bombarded with work. I can say from my stand point, that it's like every farmer from Iowa to California, all the sudden woke up two weeks ago and realized it was spring their tractors are still down. I have built more engines this last two weeks that it's all I can do to want to look at a wrench on my truck. . LOL... But it's better than not having any work, and not having any money to need a wrench for my truck. . LOL... .

Anyway I just wanted to make sure everyone out there is still alive and accounted for.

Just got news from Floor It the injectors, plate, and housing are in (or should be on Friday). Can't wait to get them in! then I can go looking for some of those little annoying ****** off weedeaters running around town.

OSR, you found a trk. yet? I'm headed for Ca. in a couple days, come ride along, and we'll find ya one out there. The next time you come thru here, maybe you'll find me a little closer to home.

John flllowed me home from Seattle, but he was about 12 hrs. behind me. I waited for him for 2 days in Ogden, but couldn't wait any longer, had to get moving.

Larry

Well RATZ Yogibear. Here I am getting ready to head your way, and you're gonna be gone. I guess I'll have to catch you on the next trip back.

I'll be in Springfield, MO this Saturday for my Uncle's 80th birthday, then headed on to Colorado on Sunday.

Thanks to the fellow in Russell Kansas with the really nice white 3rd gen dually for stopping and asking if everything was OK. I saw he had some TDR stickers in his rear window, I was stopped on the service road north if I-70 and 281 next to the Sonic. Had to have a cheese coney and tater tots, my cholesterol was too low. I had the Dodge with 5th wheel camper and ATVs in tow. Maybe I'll see 'ya this fall when I pass through again on my way to Little Sahara in Oklahoma? Thanks again!

Hey Dan, that was me. Dang, I should have stopped a little longer and BS'ed a little. I talked to you in GI a few mo. ago when I blew my boost hose. I was snowed in up there for a couple days. Give me a call when ya come thru. 785-658-5734. L8er,

Larry

Hey Robin, was just thru Muncie 2 days ago, didn't see anything going on there, I don't think they are ready for you!!;) Wish I could make it, just too damn busy! That is beautiful farm country up there.

Larry

Yogi-

TiM is a BLAST! I won't miss it! Haven't talked to John in a while, but I imagine we will convoy there with him, if we can keep up. When I say we, I mean a buddy and I, my wife would not enjoy TiM. .

Robin

The wife and I will be making the pilgrimage there this year and plan to try and fall in the convoy. We will probably leave Fri. Morning and come home Mon. morning.

Russell

Russell-

Hope the little woman likes gearhead stuff all day long. When I told my wife what it was like last year. she decided not to go. . darn. . ;)

Robin

Mine wants to make sure I'm a good boy, as I will be sitting in the DHRA booth for a good part of the time. And as I can't let the cat out of the bag because I'm not sure it's a done deal, but i think I will be having some 'lovely' guests working with me. . > LOL

Russell

TiM

GOING TO PICK UP NEW TRUCK SAT. MAY 22 IN NASHVILLE, TN

Now I need to sell the 3500 anyone interested? It is back to stock form now, and will be sold that way with the exception the transmission, and internal pump work I have done. So it will be about 260 hp when sold still heck of a nice pulling truck. Could use a little paint work and some new seats, but the original 40/20/40 bench goes with as well as the bucket seats in it now. So pass it a long fellas...

Russell

P. S. Roll call for Kansasans going to TiM

saw your post on the other board and thought I'd say hi. I'm not too far away here in Manhattan. In fact I think you know David Goode, I actually bought my truck from him when he decided to upgrade to a second gen, I knew him from college. It looks a little different now after paint, wheels and tires.

Later
