And I did decide to go ahead and work on the truck, should have done that right from the start when I got home from work, cause now I have a truck with NO exhaust whatsoever, ughhhhhhhh. Guess I will have to finish tommorow night.

And Yogi, my wife wishes I would stay gone... LOL. .

Well you of all people should have known a #10 plate would get hot in a 215 pump Russell! :-laf That truck has a seen a few 1600* blast's all in the name of winning and glory! :-laf But she ALWAYS won! I'm curious to see the insides so when you pull the head take some pics for me please.



I'm pretty sure I've found my next truck. Gotta talk with my financial advisors (i. e. Mom & Dad LoL) tomorrow, but hopefully getting it Saturday. Here it is! (97 4x4 5spd w/02 Wheels & Mirrors only 139K miles).

He took the mount off, I wanted nothing to do with the plow.



He "claims" that he ordered it in Dec. , didn't get it till Feb. and once it was installed it never snowed again. I don't know, but I plan on checking the front end throughly. Looks like all is go for meeting this guy Saturday to possibly buy the truck! Oo.

Ok fellas update on the truck. . LOL. New exhaust and turbo installed and finished RUNS LIKE A BANSHEE AND SCREAMS LIKE ONE TOO... LOL. Also the subs and amps are in and thumpin pretty good now. Tommorow night I plan on doing DV's and inj. That will finish things for a little while... . HA HA HA I almost said that with a straight face... LOL

Unfortunately I have been informed by the wife that we will not be taking the new truck to municie this year, she doesn't feel like riding in it for another 13 hours. . LOL. . ohh well I guess I will have to ride in her pretty girls truck... LOL. Also lets try to get a little idea of a plan together for next Fri. whos going and what time and where everyone would like to hook up.

I am trying to talk her into it and she's starting to waiver but I won't know for sure until next week, I am thinking if I get her up early enough Fri. am and just put her in the truck she won't realize it til about Lawrence. . Yeah. The storm was well to the north of hwy 400. It was windy and there was was quite lightning show off to the north, but I didn't hit a drop of rain.

Ok who is going to TiM this year? I know Robin and I are going thats two trucks, John will already be in St. Louis but figures we should almost be there by the time they are ready to leave there Fri. afternoon sometime. Anyone else going from our neck of the woods?

My itenerary is something like this,



Depart Salina approx. 700a with 02 and 97 3500 (she's sold and have to deliver)

Arrive at buyers farm (south of KC) at approx. 1030isha

Depart KC by 1045a

Arrive in St. Louis 200p

And am hoping will have found someone by then that knows how to get there... LOL.



For those that will be going and if anyone wants to meet in KC somewhere no matter which side somewhere in that neighborhood of time let me know, the best place for everyone to get together might be the stadiums just east of town on Blue Ridge cutoff and I-70. (Those that still live in KC correct me if I am wrong on wether thats a good spot to meet (const. and what not)). For those that have questions or for what ever reason, you will be able to reach me on my cell phone at 1-785-577-1241, or if you just see us, the 02 is a really pretty bright Red with tonneau cover and completely stock. There is a DHRA sticker in the pass. side rear window thats about all there is to distinguish it.

Just got back from Table Rock! Sunburned and tired!



Not sure when we (or could be just me) are leaving. Talked to John a bit ago and he's not sure when he's leaving. So, if he leaves tonight, he's on his own coz I am tired and not driving all nite. Otherwise, I will probably wait till he's ready to go tomorrow, he said maybe noon, due to work. He will call me and he said he will call you as well when he knows something.
