Does anyone have experience with Kelderman's rear air for ram 2500?
Ride vs factory coils. I hate how tall the rear of the truck is.

My truck is a 2020 ram 2500 there's no difference I think in the height of it and what my 14 was. Also I guess it's the new multirate springs but the 2020 rides a lot bouncier than the 14 ever was.

I have a 2014 2500 with the factory air ride. I lifted the truck slightly with Thuren springs in front and wanted to match that with a rear lift. Kelderman sells a spacer for the factory rear air bag.

When I went to install it I discovered that the Kelderman instructions were flat out wrong. There’s no other way to say it. I had to invent an install solution. When i called to talk to them about it and asked to speak to the tech who actually DID the install they were rude and dismissive. They admitted they didn’t follow their instructions. The quality of the product looks ok but I wouldn’t purchase another part or service from them if my life depended on it…. And I VERY rarely gripe…

The 2500 spring suspension truck is the tallest of the 2400/3500 trucks for sure.

The Kelderman reverse level is what I will look into, unless it was cheaper to trade on a auto-level 2500/3500.

My mother has a 2019 2500 with air ride and it's pretty cool. I didn't know how the aftermarket air suspensions compared to the factory as far as a ride but I really like the idea of the more adjustability of the aftermarket. I already have a wireless controller with compressor running airbags on the truck I put on from my 14. So in theory all I need is the bags.

Yes, I do. I have a 2014 2500 that I swapped out the factory rear coil springs, since the truck was new for the reverse level Kelderman air bag kit. I also added an onboard air compressor. The air ride is noticeably smooother than coil springs; both at empty and loaded towing a 15,000# gooseneck horse trailer. The rear bumper does end up lower by about 2" - 3" from stock, it's a reverse level now. It also gave more bed rail clearance from the underside of the gooseneck. The horse trailer has tandem 8,000# axles with air suspension. I'd do it again until they figure out how to lower the truck frames.

I appreciate all the replies. Yeah I understand I have one horse trailer that has torsion axles and if it's unloaded hauling it you hit the brakes sometimes the front tires will slide because the tires are barely touching the ground. Then again I've been dealing with this for 7 years with my 14 and now this truck. I'm actually building an extension for the gooseneck hitch on my first generation right now so there's not as much variance in the height. Friday I had to put a block under the hitch and reset the pins on the feet of my implement trailer so I I could get it low enough to hook on to the old 91. Really don't like jacking up a 32 ft trailer twice in 100 plus temperatures. Sorry about the rant thanks for the replies again.
