I was wondering how hard it is to replace the king pins?I need to replace mine and looking through the FSM, and the book say's you need some special pullers to remove the king pins. Don't mine doing the work just don't know where to get these pullers and also if someone can give me a Idea on the price to replace these is gonna run me. I tell you the suspension and electrical is the worst on these trucks,I eat a drag link one a year from the plowing I almost just consider it maintenance. Anyway enough rambling if someone has any help just chime in .

To remove the king pin itself you need a 7/8's allen wrench. Nothing special. The king pin is made of a very hard material. Look it over good for wear. Most likely you will not find any.

Those pins from Dodge run around $125. each.

Here is a link with part numbers for the uppers.

Thank's Phillip for the link's gonna try calling randy's ring and pinion see if parts are still available. Don't remember if it was you that said they had a camber correction kit available for the trucks, was wondering if I should just put the stock stuff back in or look for that kit. Also anybody have any dates for when T. I. M. is

Joe

T. I. M. is now called Diesel Thunder. Its being held at Indy Raceway park. The dates are June 24-26.

I have never delt with Randys R&P so I don't know.

If you use the moog camber kit it is expensive. If your tires are not leaning much. I would try the stock parts and see if it corrects the problem. Mine was out far enough I needed the correction kit.

My drivers side is leaning in pretty good and the tire is statring to get a scallop look. I was hoping the new parts would correct the leaning on the tire.
