I wasnt thinking doors, but bedsides may be cool.

now that I know there are glass fenders available, I may just buy a whole nother truck to play with. hmmm, maybe a 1/2 ton for weight?

A half ton truck is a little lighter but not as strong. We are having bed sides made for the 03-05 trucks now. Just for the short bet How about a hood? No door skins, in stock full class racing you have to keep the doors.

Well that may just be my next project then. 03 or 04 shortbed quad 2500 with Kore Race, DRC bumpers, glass fenders/hood/bedsides. I had purchased a wrecked 97 club cab 1500 at one time just for this purpose, but ended up parting it out after being made an offer I couldnt refuse.

I would like to use a mid 90's truck for the cheap aspect, but the 03 would be cool for more passengers, and the availability of glass bedsides.

If you did that,

You would be in the same ballpark as the KORE race truck. Competitive!! Just add a cage and a fuel cell and race Stock Full.

Thank yo uvery much Curtis. I appreciate the comliment. No, I do not have KORE on my 98. I am going to though. Probably the Chase system on this truck.

Greg, that is my intent. I would love to race full stock. Except I fear always coming in second to King Kroeker!!! there is a new race that is gonna happen next summer here in NM. NM to Mexico. I would like to be ready by then. I will keep my fingers crossed that the money tree grows faster.
