OTD,

I wouldn't let that guy drive my truck to the super market. Much less, 60 mph around a corner sideways on 3 wheels. Now we know who the real King is!!! Kroeker was taking the pictures and I told him I would show him how to drive through a corner.

King Boardman!!!!

Greg,

With the fiberglass fenders and a KORE Race system, do you know if you can clear the Toyo 37's on a second generation??? I'm running 35's right now, but I'm afraid that 37's would require some cutting.

thanks

Marek

Marek,

I would guess that the 37's would fit. Not for sure though. Do your tires rub on any fender parts now? If so where? The glass is cut back almost to the fenderwell against the firewall. Maybe and inch and a half now. If the only rub you have is on the control arms, they will rub a little more. The 37,s are 1 inch bigger around.

Tomorrow,

Fred Swanson is coming to put all of the mechanical stuff back in. He has tremendous knowledge on transmissions and clutches. He has donated his time to us and we really apprieciate it. The body work is all but finised. Just wainting on a few things. It should be up and running by noon. I will post an update in the morning.

Just a little update,

King Kroeker came out the the DRC Compound on Tuesday. We also had Fred Swanson www.desertdieselparts.com come out for a little help. Fred did a complete R&R of the blown up transmission, transfer case, and a new South Bend Dual Disk 650 HP rated clutch ( thanks Peter!!) in about 4 hours. That is some feat! That big old gnarly NG5600 transmission is huge! But with the help of a couple of us ( Kent and I watching Fred) he made small work of it. THANKS FRED!!!!! Then on Wednesday, Kroeker and I fabbed up some battery and Fass pump mounts, got it replumbed, wired, and fired! THE BEAST LIVES!!!!!! I tell you what, we couldn't have been happier. It was great. I turned the key on and it fired like it was brand new. The clutch is amazing. Smooth feel and lots of grab. We wont be killing this one yet. Maybe we'll put enough power to her to test it though. I know that alot of you have been following our progress, and we apprieciate you ongoing support. Thank You!
