Kurt, just got back from delivering a 38 ft. 5er to Mobile, Al. from York, Ne. Was grossing 22,980 lbs. I didn't get in any mountains, but there's some pretty good grades from K. C to St. Louis, and down I-55 to Lafayette, La. I pulled it all the way with the Comp. on #5!! I never thought I'd see the day I could pull in #5. On one long grade I saw it touch 1300*, and that was because I was doing 70 at the bottom and hit 75 at the top, the rest of the time I just feathered the pedal to keep it at 70, and egt's would be 1100* to 1250*, depending on the grade. Man, I'm tickled to death with it!! Can't wait to get it dynoed to see what hp gains are. I've got the boost set so it won't get over 42#, I hope that will be ok. I got out once to check if the pyro sensor tube had blown out. That happened on the way home from the install, I was jazzing around with it and all of a sudden my egt's went down to 300*, and just stayed there, we forgot to tighten the nut on the sensor, and it blew out, and was just hanging there.
Anyway I'm one happy trucker!!! Let me know if the 42# boost is alright. L8er,
Larry
