Here is kaptn's remarks on the Injector Line upgrades via PM:
I have been playing with larger injector lines and tubes. I had 90 hp injectors and just . 093 lines. The truck ran a consistent 14. 0 1/4 mile. I installed larger injectors with bigger tubes, truck started missing out at normal driving but ran like a raped ape at WOT. I have an automatic which does not like the bigger lines and tubes. I am back to stock lines, big tubes, and big injectors. Truck misses out in park and between 40 - 60 mph normal driving. Runs great at wide open throttle. I plan on going back to stock tubes to see if truck settles down. I hear people with manual transmissions do not have problems. My injection pump has had the delivery valves tuned and it is a HO pump. I believe the way the computer is set up I am not getting enough fuel from the injection pump. I went to the dealer yesterday and had the idle adjusted from 900 to 1500 rpm a thousand at a time to see if it would work. NOPE! hehe I seem to take 3 steps forward and 4 steps back. I wish someone could help in this matter and I have asked on the TDR without much luck. I guess I need to get a 12 valve lol I hope this awnsers you question. Copy and paste this to your thread if you like as I would hate to retype it. Also I hope to install the water/meth system before Feb. 28 th Dyno Day in Indy. Thanks for you work on that. Kirk
Something I forgot. The truck would die when shifting into gear unless the rpms were brought up with the oversize lines. The higher idle adjustment would have probably cured that though.
