Har, those TV shows are way off the mark when it comes to REAL wrenching. They need to start a REAL mechanic's reality show, kind of like Overhaulin' but without the shop. Maybe some poor idiot like me trying to work on his truck in his driveway. They could call it "Butt Thumbin' " and pull in a whole new demographic.

If somebody woulda taped Karen and I struggling and arguing while attempting to complete the project in my sig, it would probably have been 250 times more entertianing to most people than AC and AHR put together! All performed in the driveway, with a tarp draped over the front end between there and the garage door, WITHOUT a big fancy shop with a tile floor, and WITHOUT a gabillion bux worth of Mac Tools and Miller Welding equipment.

Karen an I keep joking about making motorhome repowers a full-time business. We're gonna call the place "Jackson County Motorcoaches". :-laf

Sad news indeed.

Roy was like a lot of other old world craftsmen. More talent than any 10 of his co-workers, and none of them willing to learn from him. I wish I had the opportunity to learn from someone like that. I check the info to see what they are building before I watch any new episodes. Loved the 63 Mopar, especially the Hemi. Wonder what it brought at auction? R. I. P. Roy. DK.

I was watching the Overhaulin episode where the guy gave one of his kidneys to the another guy and the second guy wanted to give something back to him. In the crowd at the end of the show I saw charlie and the guy with the messed up face standing in the back row.

Roy, you the man. Your the only one with a sence of humor in that show. How you didn't put that annoying black guys head in the metal break I'll never know. R. I. P. man
